Amsterdam Dance Event

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

I wanna see Koneveljet again, too. The last time they rocked hard. They have a new album out, too, though it's got mixed reviews. Their label, Exogenic Breaks Records, has put out some quality compilations as well.

Hulkkonen, on the other hand, I don't necessarily want to see again, or maybe he doesn't want to see me: The last time I nearly spilled some beer on his equipment.
The first two were an Exogenic label night and I wanted to see those two anyway. The place was full of Finns :) Jori played a great mixed set though it was cut short because Solvent wouldnt get the fuck off the stage and his PC kept crashing :x DK7 was interesting and I liked the concept and Billy Nasty was good but I was ready for my bed by then :) The pleasant surprise of the evening was Vector Lovers and I'll be checking more of his stuff out. I only knew him thru one remix he'd done for labelmate Alex Smoke (who is also brilliant)
