Has anyone heard this track from the 'Isles of Wonder' Olympic opening ceremony OST? It's the backing music from the 'industrial revolution' section they did. It features a few nods to the past (there's a bit of Rez and Two Months Off in there) but it's mostly an entirely new composition.
It's 17 minutes long, and as over-the-top as the occasion deserved, but I think it's one of the most impressive pieces of music I've ever heard! Stirring, heartbreaking, almost like a symphony - even my nan was impressed!
