The wife and kids can watch Coronation Street and all the other crap upstairs tomorrow night!. I have the tv booked from early evening, and there's plenty of cold Fosters in the fridge!. Play have never failed me before in delivering on the day of release - fingers and everything else crossed.
Jesus, it feels like the night before Christmas!

You guys not get yours yet ?!?!?
I've had mine since last Thursday. Strange that. I thought it would be available everywhere. Oh well, its out now, so good stuff!
Anyway, its pretty good. The sound quality on CD1 is piss poor for an official live release, with The Box being a standout track that suffers from this (another being, Are we here?). This is noticable especially at the crescendo part of the tune at 03:11, where the heavy base drum kicks in. I've heard this many times live and as you all know is wickidly magik and one of the many highlights from their show. However on this occasion its intensity is just lost due to the poor quality of the sound recording. This is a real shame.
It sounds like a reasonable recording made from the crowd as opposed to the musical heaven that would have been emminating from the sound desk.
I know that they probabally weren't recorded with the intention of releasing, but still, in this day and age some quality control is expected.
It has to be said that the quality is way better on the second CD, where a majestic version of chime ends the compilation on a major high.
the DVD is a nice documentation of Orbital at various stages in their recording/Glastonbury-playing career. Its oddly lacking a menu though that would have been straight forward enough to do, i would have thought.

Please note that this is all IMHO.

Mine arrived this morning and Style is playing as we speak on the DVD... fab live version. im only playing it thru my shit lil bedroom TV so no good or bad sound quality would be noticed really cos the TV is shite. !

DVD - No menus apart from one with PLAY ALL that as a short vid of Chime playin from a distance shot. but you can use the number buttons on remote to choose the Tracks.
