Loads of quality acts - looks like quite a nice festival, featuring (amongst others):
Autechre have been announced as the last minute headliner of the Bloc-Weekend Festival, which already boasted a lineup including Clark, Kool Keith, Mu-Ziq, Rhythm and Sound, Newcleus, Robert Hood, Digital Mystikz, Two Lone Swordsmen, Surgeon, and many other quality acts (see below for full lineup).
The festival is held in a 70's style Pontins holiday centre in Norfolk between 23rd and 25th March 2007. It is the same venue that Dedbeat used in the past for their unforgettable festivals.
Bloc-Weekend continues on from Dedbeat's concept of taking a lineup of fresh electronic music and letting a couple of thousand people loose on a holiday park for the weekend, with a 24hr bar to boot. Everyone sleeps on site in chalets (no tents here!) making for a community-style vibe. The indoor music arenas are right next to the chalets, so finding your way about should be, in theory at least, fairly easy.
