New Warp EP- LFO/Plaid/Clark/Warbeck

Post by usernick »

This ep is a sampler for the Soundtrack to the groundbreaking French Animation 'Renaissance.' All the tracks on it are exclusive 12" tracks by Warp Artists except for the Louis Warbeck track but we're the only people in the world to sell it.

This is a very good ep, LFO's bonkers Si On Partait is a crazy rhythmic almost electro track which is also in our opinion one of the best things hes done in ages. Proper hard twisted techno style.

Plaid's Chasend is an almost dubsteppy style track but a few bpm's faster and with a paniced rawness about it that's unusual for Plaid.

Clark weighs in with a melodic hip hop speed track called Ted, that is like a heavier, hip hoppier version of early Aphex experiments at this speed but with more effects. Louis Warbeck finishes with a tense club track called Club 71.

Film synopsis: Paris, 2054. Ilona Tassueiv, a young and brillant reseacher is violently kidnapped. Avalon, a giant multinational corporation and her employer, wants her found at any cost. Dellenbach, Avalon’s CEO, has requested that Officer Bartholomew Karas, a hostage retrieval specialist and the most controversial cop in the force, be in charge of the case...
