Paul in session on Radio 6/new album details

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Paul's cover of A Forest is seriously eerie! Love the 'found sound' percussion. Can't wait to hear the finished version.

Exciting to hear him mention In Sides (if you want to compare it to an Orbital album), and glad he's working with Flood again. I liked the The Ideal Condition, but felt it would have benefitted from an external producer's input, so have high hopes.

Paul also mentioned on twitter potentially looking at Autumn for the album release date.

Here's a link http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0072lbw track is called The Past Now and is played approx an hour in. A demo but dare I say it's...dull. Getting an ambient folk vibe from what I have heard so far, which doesn't do much for me at all.
Hope Flood can knock it into shape, the beats and programming are not the best.

I really liked it at first, but after a few listens, I have to agree with you. Still, let's give it the benefit of the doubt...
