so, what does that 'Eye & I' means??

http://www.discogs.com/Orbital-Midnight ... ease/93562 & http://www.discogs.com/Orbital-Midnight ... ase/239594

it is some band of rappers who released just one album and 2 singles and they are credited for mixing OR mix engineering OR co-remixing that great Choice remix.
it would be strange for them to (co)remix something 'non-rap-ery' if you ask me, so i want to know IF someone knows how it is/was... :)

They could have done any part of the track from a bassline to percussion.
They may even have been in the studio at the same time and were asked for an opinion!
Perhaps P&P knew them?
Mixing could mean pretty much anything but they definitely did not take the Hartnoll track and 'Re-mix' it into there own version.

Hope this helps :|

digging onto this again. on the back side is 'Choice' mixed by Orbital - Eye & I. now, Eye and I have the same pronunciation and on the title side of the Midnight/Choice single is cross-section of the organ EYE, soooo its that Eye what they mean i think. nothing to do with Eye & I hiphop/funk/soul/rap band...

ok, i cheated but i needed to understand the answer as well.

SO i txt Paul and he said it was with "Jon Delafons and "Mark Ransom"

https://www.discogs.com/artist/424857-Jonny-Delafons - Alabama 3 member

and

i believe this is the Mark he is referring to

https://www.discogs.com/artist/105826-Eye-2 - so totally makes sense.

I and I is a Rastafarian term, here's the Wikipedia definition:

I and I (also spelled I&I, InI, or Ihi yahnh Ihi) is a complex term, referring to the oneness of Jah (God) and every human. In the words of Rastafari scholar E. E. Cashmore: "I and I is an expression to totalize the concept of oneness. 'I and I' as being the oneness of two persons. So God is within all of us and we're one people in fact. I and I means that God is within all men. The bond of Ras Tafari is the bond of God, of man." The term is often used in place of "you and I" or "we" among Rastafari, implying that both persons are united under the love of Jah. Also in the Twi language (in which patois uses a lot of Twi loan words) of Ghana, Me ne me is also said, which literally translate to "I and I".
