This album is a grower and more chilled out than anything.
"Crocodile" and "Beautiful Burnout" are fantastic. "Holding the Moth" is also great and reminds me of Detroit house with the lead bass line. "To Heal" and "Glam Bucket" - chilled out and very cinematic. "Boy Boy Boy" - really like this as well and probably the track that sticks out the most on first listen.
Tracks i skip...
"Ring Road" is just a poor man's Streets track. terrible.
The 2nd part of the CD is quite bland really. nothing too special.
Seeing them tonight...

i still like it - more than i generally like the streets, incidentally, so i wouldn't consider it a "poor man's" anything. the comparison to the streets is obvious, but it's not like there's any elements to it that underworld haven't done already before the streets came along - tho the overall combination is more of a change for them.Loopz wrote:"Ring Road" is just a poor man's Streets track. terrible.

by the way, all three london gigs (weds, thurs, fri) will be webcasteded live - check out underworldlive.com i expect.
oh and they're recording/selling cds from certain gigs - that fancy thing where the cds are available to buy ten minutes after the gig finishes. will be available to buy on the web too (one already is). not doing it at the nottingham gig sadly.
