Just watched the Chems 'live' footage and I must congratulate them on their ability to add some whooshy noises over a prerecorded backing. Bravo Tom, Bravo Ed!!!

I suppose I had talked this up to myself so much I was in danger of being terminally disappointed if it had gone wrong. I know that I had everyone I knew driven demented talking about it. I hadn't been that excited in a long time.

Anyway

The Highlights?
Getting a ticket
The drive
Getting the ticket
The arrival (memorable if not a highlight)
Lanterns
The day of getting lost
That side of the fence
Being practical
Irish coffees and spliff by campfire (on-going and purely medicinal)
The mud
Ralph Myerz and The Jack Herren Band
Eat Static
The day of being found
New wellies
System 7
My first pill
The Ozrics in the Glade on Sat Night
The Technodome afterwards
Artisans-R-Us
Flint and Steels
Old Heads and New Faces
Longrange (was not expecting that)
The Who
The downpour
The trudge
The look back
Getting Stuck
Getting out
Getting Home

Lowlights
The mud (does not allow for speedy access and egress)
Curfews (one in particular)
A Guy called Gerald (was expecting much better)
No lessons with a hammer
Leaving

Kudos to all

Bjork for me too. By a country mile the best thing I saw. Loopz we'll have to do rock scissors paper for her. Badger - I'd love to have a look at that set too - will PM you.
