Hybrid - I Choose Noise

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Hybrid - I Choose Noise

Post by -anType »

New Hybrid album is coming out on September 18th

Distinct'ive Records, DISNCD172
(CD/DVD package)

1-minute excerpts of most tracks can be heard here: http://www.hinote.com.tw/Tc/content-upc ... y=&format=

It surely sounds less epic and much darker than their previous stuff. Though the orchestrations are still there... This time co-scored with Harry Gregson-Williams (who Hybrid have collaborated with for the soundtracks to Man On Fire and Chronicles Of Narnia).

00. Everything Is Brand New [Hidden Track]
01. Secret Circles
02. Dogstar (Feat. Perry Farrell)
03. I Choose Noise
04. Falling Down (Feat. Judie Tzuke)
05. Last Man Standing
06. Hooligan Spirit
07. Choke (Feat. John Graham)
08. Keep It In The Family
09. Until Tomorrow (Feat. John Graham)
10. Dream Stalker
11. Just For Today (Feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw)

Thanks for the info, but shouldn't this kind of news be put in another part of the forum?

It sounds delicious. I think 'Dogstar' is going to become a favourite of mine.

But why do they take so bloody long between albums?! I find it most stressful. :(

I think I'm unabashedly in love with this album. It's SO pretty.

Glad it's not just mine that hasn't turned up...not that I revel in your misfortune Dave.

I'm becoming so impatient I nearly bought the bloody thing in a shop yesterday, heaven forbid!
