Last 'film' I watched was Korn, live at CBGB's... Breathtaking.

Wouldn't mind seeing 'Constantine' and 'Sin City' is on the must see list for me...

Ahhhh... you cant get better than "The Run"
Us sad people down in Bournemouth tend to host regular "Run" nights... Burt was "da man" without doubt.

Watched "Anchorman" the other night. Was dissappointed as I really like the cast, but I found the humour very hit and miss.
Certainly not in the same league as Dodgeball or Starsky and Hutch IMO

But the daddy of them all from this series has to be Old School!

memly: Anchorman is my current favourite 'stupidfunny' movie... I don't normally find movies like that very funny but it had me cracking up. When it first came out I found myself quoting bits from it all the time :)

I think its one of those comedies you have to "buy into" a bit like "Zoolander" or "Mystery Men"

I just thought a lot of the gags fell flat, but I have a funny feeling this may be a 'cultural' thing.
I am assuming most of the actors are from Saturday night live, this doesnt really have a big following here in England (to my knowledge) so quite a few of these people are not household names.

That said, I like Will Ferrell/Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughan, just not in this

Anchorman is fantastic. I watched it last week and thought... hell, I'll watch it again. And I did, right away.

Watched a 'dodgy' version of Sin City last night. Bloody Awesome!! Sat with a mate of mine with copies of the original graphic novels and 80% of the scenes are straight off the page. Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke are amazing. Will be going to see that at the cinema...,

There's a great website here that shows comparisons of panels in the graphic novels to scenes from the movie: http://www.filmrot.com/images/sincity-c ... ncity.html

It's amazing how true-to-source they were!

I read in an interview with Robert Rodriguez that they filmed the three stories in their entirety as lifted directly from the pages of the comics, and that the complete versions of each story will be on the bonus disc.

I hope it is so! :)
