Saw Oldboy last night - what a mindf**k of a film, brilliant original stuff.

I saw the japanese movie Casshern.... it's like a live-action anime, very epic and pretty but with plotholes the size of me.

"So, we've escaped into the snowy mountains, how will we get back at the people who killed our friends? OH LOOK OVER THERE IT'S AN ABANDONED CASTLE WITH A GARGANTUAN ROBOT FACTORY!!!!!!!!11"

Still worth seeing, though, even if it IS 142 minutes long. :)

I remember seeing Deep Impact at the cinema with some friends... I don't think we've ever laughed that much watching a movie before. :)

I watched Identity last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a thriller/horror/mystery kind of movie :)

damn. now i wanna see meikyuu monogatari.

I've seen all the other Asian films mentioned here, while not the American flicks The Incredibles or Identity.
Old boy was gorgeous, as was Casshern.

My last film would have been... hmm, Hana-Bi perhaps? That's my third favourite Beat Kitano film (seen'em all...) after Zatoichi and Sonatine. Violent Cop is a good fourth.

NEXT film I intend to see is Kim-Ki Duk's "3-Iron".

We had an Anthony Hopkins love-in last night, with both 'Silence of the Lambs' and 'Remains of the Day'. Interesting dichotomy.

I watched A Tale Of Two Sisters last night. Splendidly creepy Korean psychological horror flick.

This film and Oldboy are paving the way for a new influx of Korean films, methinks.
