Last film I watched was the 3DCG version of 'Appleseed'. Amazing!

Film before that was 'Casino Royale' on DVD. Best. Bond. Ever!

The Magic Roundabout

Quite dark and enjoyable. Loads of "grass" references from the Dylan the rabbit which made me smile

Dylan: Chill out guys, I've got something stashed that just might help.
Brian: Dylan, we don't have time to indulge in recreational activities...

Severance - Funny as f**k. Loved the bit with the bear trap!!

Sexy Beast - Also great film. Thought Kingsley was amazing.

I watched Hot Fuzz last night, and it was absolutely fantastic. Exceeded my very high expectations. :)

Watched Stranger Than Fiction last night.

Brilliant - highly recommend it for anyone who's a fan of Charlie Kaufman type writing (i.e the wierd sort of twists in Being John Malkovich and Adaptation) and Michel Gondry-type camera work. And Maggie Gyllenhaal....yum

2 films on Film 4 last night:

Equilibrium: Pants. Silly concept, silly execution.

Dead Mans Shoes: brilliant gritty english thriller about a soldier who on his return to civi life murders a gang of yobs for abusing his retarded brother. Very harsh and disturbing.

Saw Reign over me on Saturday - Adam Sandler (in a serious role) and Don Cheadle.

Pretty good film about people, emotions & a friendship. Adam Sandler lost his entire family on 9/11 and has regressed to an almost teen-like trance and won't talk about them. He runs into Don Cheadle who was his college room mate for 2 years when they were young but now has a wife & family but who's life has become a bit stale and they rekindle their friendship. Also has Liv Tyler in it as the psychiatrist, I love that gal!

Equilibrium is one of my favorite movies of all time, just for the record. :P

I just came home from watching Danny Boyle's Sunshine. The visuals were amazing, and the movie wasn't too shabby either, although it kind of loses steam towards the end.

I really enjoyed the music, and stayed for the credits to see who's scored it - lo and behold, it was our old pals Underworld along with some John Murphy guy!

I had high hopes for this having seen the trailers, I thought the concept had too many flaws; how can you get married and have children if you are devoid of emotion? I didnt think the environment was sterile enough to convince the viewer that there were no feelings being felt by any of the characters...

Got "300" to watch tomorrow...

It's like in 1984, they get married to produce offspring, no real emotion involved. ;)
