Sonar 2009

Post by electronicdreamplant »

Is anyone else going to this? Have been searching the Forum for any info on meet-ups. My first time out there so would be good to hook up with someone. Am flying in on the Friday if anyone else wants some company

.... so there is a strong possibility that the set list from Brighton could be different at the Chill??

I hope not!

It's all to do with time. Festivals allocate a set time and theyhave to work to that...

So its Out There Somewhere that gets the chop then...

Which leads me to my pretty obvious next question....

Okay...

So what did they play instead? Or was OTSW just dropped and Doctor ? was the final song??

Ahhh. I hope the organisers at the Chill give them sufficient time to play the entire set. I thought that encore was amazing...

it's unlikely that the big chill will give any more than 1 and a half hours , as i've never seen a festival set that is longer than that in all my days. one and a half is a pretty standard headline set length. the brighton gig was more like 2 hours.

I did see the start of Fever Ray - wish I'd stayed for more. Made the mistake of getting in early to see Beardyman and catching way too much of The Animal Collective, who sound fine recorded but were awful live (IMHO)

Well, there's a "#" in the top left hand corner of the page, but apart from that....! :)
