I'll have to wait until Manchester before seeing them, but like what I've seen of the video clips so far! It really does look like they've tried to freshen things up rather than just trot out an old set. Not sure I like the new middle bit of Halcyon but loving the new ending. The set list looks real...

Even with no new tunes, it will be really interesting to see how 4 years on their solo projects has influenced the Orbital sound. Hopefully it will make things sound fresh and inspire them to work on a new album!

Hmm, it was definitely later than Sniv and I'm sure the intention was to try playing live in 5.1 surround. Maybe it was the Altogether tour which resulted in them bringing out the 5.1 DVD instead?user name wrote:the sniv tour was in quadraphonic , is that what your thinking of?

I also think it would be great if they came on stage to 'time becomes a loop' repeating. With regards to stripping tunes back to the classic versions, I fully agree. I don't think they mean stripping away the live improvised feel to the tunes, I think they are referring to tunes like Halcyon which h...
