Michael C. Ruppert - Crossing The Rubicon: The Decline Of The American Empire At The End Of The Age Of Oil. I'm about half way through now & it's really got some good points. Especially about peak oil & just how soon it will effect us all. I don't really agree with his conspiracy theory behi...

Just watched The Fountain again. Probably the 30th time I've seen it.

I love this film, everything aboout it. The music is fantastic! Clint Mansell really captures the mood of this wonderful film.

Is anyone else finding that they can't transfer this to the PC? I'd like to be able to rip the tracks from the CD and listen to them in Winamp, which is a lot more convenient for me, but the damn thing doesn't seem to want to play along with me in Nero... :( Seeing as iTunes has decided it's no lon...

the PLA - yes, but be pre-warned it was more geared towards that night. More laid back and melodic than anything beaty (although i did throw in some Orbital...but people probably never heard it!) :) Sounds like just what the doctor ordered if you ask me. I'm glad you finally let lobe1 in on the jok...

I hadn't checked to see if it was HD or flash based. Now I know.

Any HD will last longer than the ipod/iphone's battery. :D

Well if we're going off topic.... What's the deal with making the itouch (touch screen ipod) only 16gigs? What a dumb ass idea. That's not nearly enough room for many users music, then you add in additional downloads from the wi-fi & other new features. I hope it was an actual limitation of some...

Thank you very much Dave. Both Steermouse & Litte Snitch have proven quite useful. Btw- My trainer at the Apple store says that the cursor problem is in the webpage coding when viewed with Safari & not in Safari itself. It makes sense but I'm not sure I completely believe him. Not that it re...

My copy got here late yesterday. I've only had time to listen to it once but I'm really liking it already.

Very good things from both brothers, I think it really shows why Orbital was so GREAT.

Tecnically the mighty mouse ony has one button according to Apple. It's just that it can sense weither you press the right or left side of the button & the things on the side are pressure sensors, not buttons. (Sure they are !?!?!) Back in the day Steve Jobs said that a mouse should never need m...

Re: New to Macs

Well I've already bootcamped it & have Win XP set up on a partition. As I said, it's already done. :P But only because I'll need XP for some school & work stuff & it will also allow me to play my games. I really do want to learn my way around OS X & plan on using it as the main OS o...

Thank you both very much! Adium is great so far, super easy to use & customize the way I want it. I've gone with Transmission for now because I was never very happy with Azureus in windows. I've got my first mac training class next week at the Apple store so I'll ask them about the cursor then &...
