Yeah I sent an email to the webshoppe... I guess I'll have to pay a visit to the post office to send back that defective copy. So much for the whole concept of "shopping from the comfort of your house".

It won't work with Winamp and Windows Media Player (both fully updated). For some reason, the CD unit (and DVD unit when I tried with that one) starts spinning like crazy when I get there and that's the end of it. I can't rip it with CDex neither so I can't listen to it on my non-iPod mp3 player. I'...

Sure, Screamadelica is a classic. Vanishing Point was a messy album, but with enough ace material to force respect. But I think their true masterpiece is XTRMNTR, for all its sonic exploration and rage. Evil Heat was disappointing, but at least the exploration was still going on. I'm very puzzled by...

Hmmm... Thanks, gonna lend an ear to this...

I really enjoy Modeselektor. I think in many ways they're the most "Orbitalesque" band at the moment. Their album "Hello Mom!" is definitly a good one. Not a masterpiece but it bodes very well for their future.

Well I think the new album is brilliant. But then again I'm not a massive Coldcut fan. So maybe this is why. By the way, some tracks on the album are different from the leaked version (the most obvious is "Just For the Kick"). But overall, I don't think it would change anyone's opinion on ...

I have to say I like it quite a bit. I've been listening to it a few times and I think it's really good, albeit very different from Let Us Play. The other act who's reportedly releasing soon a new record full of "featuring [name singer here]" is DJ Shadow and this is something that scares ...

I reeeeeally like it :D The singing has a hip-hop vibe, that would be a very interesting new direction for them. It's excellent. Any news on a new CD coming out soon?

The VW advert is great, and I love the music too... It's a rehash of Singing in the Rain, probably done for the ad itself, but any idea of who did it?

Best DM album since Violator? Wouldn't that be Songs of Faith and Devotion? The new one is very good -- far better than what I was expecting anyway. Definitely better than Exciter, probably better than Ultra. That's one thing I have learned with DM's last two albums: it's very easy to get excited ab...

By the way, it's out there, in the cyberspace... Of course, it could be a fake, but then it's an elaborate one since track 9 really is "Oscar See Through Red Eye", which you can listen on bleep.com The rest is suprisingly some kind of departure for the band, in a good way IMO. Definitly re...
