I finally got my copy of the album on the morning of the Glasgow gig that I was attending...

Can't say I came across any ridiculous doormen at the Glasgow gig. However, I do have my own grumble, which I'd look to put as nicely as I can. Before I continue, I'd like to say a few things, in full disclosure. 1) The new album is great - I actually think in many respects it's the fattest sounding...

I saw that tour as well in Glasgow - seriously good gig.
Right up there - nice reworkings of old classics.
And that intro always makes me smile -is that an alphorn?
Is the DVD worth getting? I've just been giving it some heavy rotation via spotify - haven't bought it yet...

Balls - if Garnier is on the bill, I can't see Orbital being shoehorned into the sets lol.

Maybe just need to give it more of a blast. Might be a grower (though lol I really doubt it).
The rest of the album more than makes up for it.

I'd just like to echo some of the comments. The cheshire cat grinning syndrome is one I had for lengthy parts through this album. It really is nice. Has some really good light and shade going on. It's got loads of "tear your head off" moments, plus the nice smooth melancholy that we know a...

I didn't know anything about him tbh. He sounds like he was a pivotal cog in the machine as it were.
