Blue Dot: Mind blowing

Still recovering from that performance. What a way to make a comeback, Forbidden Fruit was special but this was another level. Loopz, I know you are a busy man, but please, please, please ask the powers that be to make the stream available. I know a few fans who couldn't watch it last night but have...

Download by Skinny Puppy. Even as a grown man that track scares me.

Re: Roll Call Forbidden Fruit 3/6/17

There's also the Riverfest over the bank holiday weekend, with tall ships, power boats and all sorts of nautical shenanigans taking place. In typicalIrish fashion there's been bugger all advertising of the event, the first I knew of it was looking out of my office window and watching what appeared t...

Phil H DJ sets

With the sun finally making an appearance in my part of the world, the prospect of summer evenings spent with good company, barbecues and booze draws near. Essential to any gathering are the tunes, and I find you can't really go wrong by popping one Phil's DJ sets on the Bose. SoundCloud and Mixclou...

Re: Any excuse (again)

It's that time of the year again, so happy St Patricks Day (except those if ye who are going to Underworld tonight. I hate you) Ahh, how we missed being at home on the auld sod on Paddy's Day. Rivers of vomit and urine running freely down the filthy litter-strewn streets of old Dublin town. Obnoxio...

Re: Choice (Eye & I mix)

I and I is a Rastafarian term, here's the Wikipedia definition: I and I (also spelled I&I, InI, or Ihi yahnh Ihi) is a complex term, referring to the oneness of Jah (God) and every human. In the words of Rastafari scholar E. E. Cashmore: "I and I is an expression to totalize the concept of ...

Underworld, Ally Pally

I assume there's a fair bit of overlap between Orbitalites and Underworlders, anyone from the forum going to the Underworld gig in March? Where's good for a few drinkies before heading in?

Re: Roll Call Forbidden Fruit 3/6/17

I'm going. Considering getting the 2 day ticket, Aphex Twin headlining on the Sunday, haven't seen him since Brixton 1993. I had all but given up on the reunion ever happening. The way Paul was referring to himself only in iterviews ("I did, I wrote, I think) and never as "We..." didn...

Re: Joke Thread

It's a little known fact that Mahatma Gandhi had very hardened skin on the soles of his feet from walking barefoot all of the time. He also is alleged to have suffered from bad breath all his life, due to his strict vegan diet. One could say he was a super-calloused-fragile-mystic, expect hallitosis.
