Re: What Are You Listening To Now?

Been caning the new Depeche Mode album since I got my grubby hands on it last week. Probably the best release of the post Wilder era. However, also been giving the Scandroid album heavy rotation and the latest from Blanck Mass, deadmau5 (the restrospective) and Mike Oldfiield too. Currently listenin...

Re: Orbital T-shirts

My favourite tee is a yellow shirt with black/grey Orbital squiggle on the front. It's really fragile now though - only for special occasions! I quite like the 20th anniversary tee too, the back print with dates on it is cool. The ULTIMATE shirt is the football team they sponsored years ago with th...

Re: Yule cheer

My jaw hit the deck when I got the email telling me about this... Pre-ordered on iTunes. Totally, utterly brilliant and parts of it are very reminiscent of the NYE version of 'Chime' performed at Alexander Palace in 1996.

Re: How many times have you seen Orbital?

Still can't be arsed to sit down and go through all the dates, but it's definitely 30 or 31. Most vivid memories are Glasto '94 & '95, Royal Albert Hall in '96, NYE '96, Hammersmith in '00, MTV2 Hackney in '01, Dance Valley in '01, Electron Fesitval at Lycabettus in Athens September '01, the Nov...

Whilst Googling 'Orbital' and 'Pusher'...

... I found this . So, another film score eh? Lets hope the film is better than 'Octane'. Having said that, pretty much any film is better than 'Octane'. Even the drive from London to the Wirral straight after seeing the film was more enjoyable than the film itself... So, lets see what this one is l...

Re: Wonky Plump DJ's Mix

I definitely vote for a physical release of ALL THE MIXES ;)

That Plumps mix is a bit tasty too... I'm really loving the new dirty electro version the Plump lads have taken with their sound. As much as I adore breaks, it's really fizzled out now and their electro stuff is very delicious.

Re: LONDON - Loopz Pre-Gig Meet Up & Roll Call

What is the parking situation like around there. Dog mentioned the ncp carpark but on the off-chance it's full what's the on street like? How may organs will I have to sell to park there? Kensington & Chelsea is a bad area for street parking... You could try putting it around the back of the RA...

Re: Your Orbital collection

I've got some old pics somewhere, but they don't include any of my aquisitions since 'Blue', or any of the teeshirts, posters, stickers, flyers etc. that I have... My collection isn't quite as large as Badger's, but it's up there in terms of sheer size and rareties in there... I'll dig out the old p...

Re: LONDON - Loopz Pre-Gig Meet Up & Roll Call

If you want a pub close to the Royal Albert Hall, close to High Street Kensington Underground Station and with an NCP car park directly opposite, I suggest The Goat Tavern , which is much much more suitable than a pub in Knightsbridge, which is miles away... By Underground: Turn RIGHT out of High St...
