I think 'gloopy' is a lot more interesting than 'Patchwork Guilt'. tbh 'patchwork' sounds a bit too obvious, too much 'what you would expect from one half of what used to be Orbital'. i really like the sounds and tones in Gloopy though. there's a lot more going on in there. I like it! Very movie soundtrack, very emotive. Lots of depth and layers and ideas in there. In some ways it's very Orbital, with that uplifting / melancholic blend. But lighter, fresher sounding. Quite John Barrie-esque. Reminds me a bit of "Way Out", which is one of my favourite Orbital ...
