Playing a track for a minute or an hour
Have often heard Phil say that Orbital could make a track last for a minute or even an hour. They could just about do Quality Seconds in a minute, but as for the hour, well, there's so much potential. Perhaps one day they'll give it a try. Orbital walk-on music
Like all good darts players, P & P come on stage with great walk-on music. The Time Becomes intro and video is brilliant, and I can remember some Altogether ambient music during 2001, Clockwork Orange in '99, Space March in '96. Always sets the scene nicely. What other tracks have they come on t...

Re: Dr Who & Orbital!!
I was at this gig too and it was very special. I noticed someone testing a spotlight at the front of the stage while the Orbital test card stuff was being done on the screens. Thought it was a bit unusual but didn't expect the Doctor to appear. The crowd went completely bonkers. The entire set rocke...

The Sun is Good?
HMV obviously think the new single's name is too controversial, here. Talk about dumbing down!

Re: Paul Hartnoll Interview & 2 New Tracks
I'll see your David Warner in Time Bandits and raise you Niall Buggy in Zardoz. I'll call your Niall Buggy in Zardoz, though we may have a split pot. The bit near the end, where it says "I would have started with lasers, eight o'clock, Day One!" is definitely the Evil Genius. I've obvious...

Re: Paul Hartnoll Interview & 2 New Tracks
Don't Stop Me is growing on me, I prefer it with the new vocoder voice, sounds a bit like Kraftwerk's Radioactivity.
I think the sample on the Gun is Good is David Warner in Time Bandits. If these tracks are the sound of things to come from P & P am very excited.

Re: Orbital debut album with RED COVER?
I've got a red 'Green Album'. Picked it up in a record shop in Camden, thought it looked a bit unusual.
