Star Trek: The Next Generation and Orbital

I'm sure that I am not the first person to pick up on this, but I have noticed names of Orbital songs that relate specifically to Star Trek the Next Generation. Such as "Nothing Left [Shizoid Man Remix]" Schizoid Man is the name of an episode. "Macro Head" on the green album is a...

Book I'm Reading Now

I am a cynic and question most established religion. In particular I am having a hard time with Mormonism. Right now I am reading a book called "The Power and Promise: Mormon America" by Richard Ostling and Joan K. Ostling. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060663715/103-1746...

Yes true, to each his own. I just was wondering who liked Vegetarian lifestyles on this forum to see where else their interests intersected with mine apart from Orbital.

I am too but not for the same reasons as yourself :) I dont like the taste of meat. Yes that's what I meant when I said "preferential" meaning I just dislike meat. I also think there is a health issue as well because a diet high in protein is not healthy, as was the virtue of John Harvey ...

Really!??! Shatner is one of the candidates for Bond? That would be sweet, although he is a bit too old for that kind of thing. I wish Brosnan would do more.

Someone obviously ripped it from the Chris Cunningham DVD! :P
There's Boards of Canada vidoes on the Chris Cunningham DVD? It's more of a visual affect with shapes and flashing colors, not some weird Rubber Johnny.

Hypnotic Boards of Canada Videos

Has anyone ever seen one of these? I hear they show them at their live performances. I have a copy of one video for the song "June 9th" which is very impressive and enhances the song quite a bit. Is there a place where these videos can be found? I only got this one video by luck.

Orbitalhound....Have you heard the end of the box ?
Yes I have heard the end of the box played forward--I'm assuming you're talking about the original version and not one of the untitled or vocal versions.

Good point, but that's not really a good option this semester, later my friend I will get a life. Not until January unfortunately. Nevertheless I agree with you.

Listening to Music Backwards

There's a lot of stuff out there about playing music backwards, and I'd like to do it myself, but I cannot find a program that can do it on my Mac OS X unfortunately. Some interesting groups to play backwards range from Boards of Canada all the way to The Beatles....Anyone ever hear anything weird p...

Sound

This version is for sale on ebay now and that's what the add says. I also remember hearing this somewhere else as well (that this version has better sound for some reason).
