Re: Underworld - Barking

I'm slightly worried about the 'collaboration' side to this new album, given that the guys have been putting out amazing tunes of their own on underworldlive.com and during their live shows - many of which do not appear here - for ages. However, it'll be great to have studio versions of Between Star...

Re: What's The Last Film You Watched?

Sorry for the lengthy review I wrote elsewhere, but it seems no-one had mentioned it here... Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull First, some context: despite being really fond of all three Jones movies, I am not an obsessive fanboy, and I certainly didn't get my hopes up during the bu...

Fabulous, I'm so there.

And Nick, you're not wrong about the Middleton remix. Usually it's Schnauss doing magic for other people's work, but this is a brilliant track. And I love CD 1's funky, dancy mix.

Re: New Goldfrapp Album

It's brilliant. Don't expect the 'electroglam' of previous albums though, this is Big Chill, tickle-your ears, fluffy kittens niceness.

Last night I watched: http://www.archivo007.com/Images/ekland.jpg Need I say more... Film fact - they are not her tits. A body double was used! Last night I watched: Jake unpronouncable surname is a bloody good actor. Jee-len-haal. I wasn't too keen on Jarhead. I know the point was that nothing rea...

I think it depends on your relationship with the new breastee: If it's a professional relationship, any comment would be highly inappropriate. If the person is a close friend or is very open regarding the operation, you could feel confident making a light-hearted observation, or genuine compliment. ...

I'm suffering from 'PTD'. Yes, that's 'Post Transformers Disappointment'. Could it be that I'd watched the trailers one too many times and expected too much? Who knows. That fact is, there are two films fighting each other here and the result is a big shiny mess which veers from incredibly entertain...

Goodbye

Well, mine arrived on Monday and I'm listening to it currently. It's different and yet the same as what we've come to expect, in both good and bad ways... After two years of listening to and seeing only live gigs, it has taken three listens before I've become used to the vocals; otherwise the music ...

Loving the album (at least, in its poor quality form on the website).

I genuinely think this could fare well at awards like the Mercurys.

'Haven't we met before' is a stunning bitch of a track.

Robbie Williams - Lovelight (serious. the album is mostly crap, but this one is cool) P Tell me you've heard Lewis Taylor's original. Infinitely better - Williams should be shot for trying to turn it into some homosexual electro-pop. One band I liked in 2006 was The Guillemots, who may or may not b...

Lost was fabulous on Sunday. Hurley is amazing. Having been rather bored and disappointed with the last two episodes, this has restored my faith in the show's ability to entertain. I spent the last third of the episode grinning like an idiot, and the cool stuff with Kate, Sayid and Locke looks to be...
