Re: Orbital debut album with RED COVER?

Rummaging through my cd collection last night, I came across a copy of the single of the Box and on the back of the cover, printed very small, is a little red logo... could this be where it's come from?

Re: Rank the Orbital albums

The Middle of Nowhere - Way Out followed by Spare Parts Express is just the best opener to an album that I know, followed by one stunning track after another. I came to this album late but so glad I eventually managed to get into it: I regularly stick it on repeat for my daily walk to work. The Alto...

Re: Which 3 tracks would you pick?

Thanks for all your great replies: about 3 hours after I started this thread everything went into meltdown at home hence the delay in posting, but for the record the 3 tunes I think I might use (still not had the chance to play them!) are: 1. Chime - Just because. 2. Otono - Great sugestion there da...

Which 3 tracks would you pick?

During a slightly hazy moment at the obligatory works christmas doooo last night when I was waxing lyrical about how life changing seeing P+P play live at Homelands in 2001 was and why I'll be trudging to Guildford and the Isle of Wight next June, a colleague suggested I bring 3 tracks into work to ...

Re: Meet in Baile Áth Clíath.

I'm hoping that for the first time I'll be able to make a pre gig meet-up, I'm flying over Friday afternoon and would be great to meet up with everyone for a shandy or two first :D

Re: what would you put in the set?

Bigpipe Style and Walk Now to take the place of OPS and The Box (though I would be sad to see it go). Could only be made better with Tension to start the fun off.

Either way, can't wait to see what Battersea and Dublin bring along!

Re: Phil Hartnoll DJ Set Orbital After Party - 25th September

It's a small venue (holds about 500?) split into 2 separate rooms, with London beer prices and a great atmosphere. I saw Phil there back in June, was a fantastic night and I've got no doubt it will be again on Friday. I can't remember exactly what time he came on stage but he did the headline/last s...

Re: Brixton gigs

You'd think after having seen them so many times I could be sensible about the 2 Brixton gigs, but having had Halcyon on in the car on the way to work this morning playing at volumes louder than I should at my age, I'm going to be really childish here - WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Bring it on! Brothers Hartn...

I think I've lost the Global Gathering battle on account of the ticket costs, but I reckon on winning the Inverness war!
