6th November 2001 -Mary Anne Hobbs - Breezeblock Sessions - Radio Broadcast
"I also wanted to mention that their website is really excellent as well, Orbital's website, certainly worth a look if you're kinda buggering around the internet at this time at night, the address you need is www.loopz.co.uk and there's a pretty comprehensive US tour diary and all kinds of photographs up there if you know you're in a bit of an Orbital anorak and you fancy, you know, going to have a look at that, www.loopz.co.uk" - MP3 (thanx to Matt Chime!)

October 2001 - BBC Webguide - Picked as Weekly Choice of Entertainment Websites
"Brothers, Phil and Paul Hartnoll, have been bobbing torchlight specs on stage for longer than we’d care to remind them. Classic, on-site examples of their loopy homegrown sounds include Chime, Halycon and Belfast, plus a selection of live gigs."

June 2001 - Dreamcast Magazine - Review
"Baldy techno brothers Orbital's official site is one of the best out there. It's got snippets of every tune they've ever concocted, up-to-date band and tour news, and a chat forum full of loveable obsessives"

May 2001 - International DJ Magazine - Review
"Guess what? Loopz is the official online home of balding techno-boffins Orbital. Run by fan Steve Price, this started out as a scarily-authoratative e-zine e-zine and online "hang-out" for Orbital headz the world over. Subsequently, there's plenty to get stuck into, from official news and gig reviews (you can read fan comments about every single set they've played) to audio snippets, RealVideo samples and interactive chat. There's a really cool MP3 section too, featuring mad fan remixes of Orbital classics. Great Fun!"

March 20th 2001 - Nominated with 11 Other websites for the Dotmusic Webmaster Zone Award
The Loopz site was nominated with 11 Other websites for the DOTMUSIC Webmaster Zone Award. Loopz came SECOND but the winner was Madonaramas website.

24th May 2000 - .NET Site of the week
"Loopz [24/05/00]

Loopz The Orbital are an acquired taste, but the kings of ambient music have certainly been around long enough to provide a great amount of content for a very good Web site. Loopz is the official site for the band as has a lot on offer. The style of the site is quite subtle but good looking and easy to get around. Both text and images are well presented and don’t take too long to load.

An inordinate of work has gone into the site, providing fans and visitors with news, discographies, webcasts of recent gigs, videos, tour info, message boards and a gallery of art work. If only all fan sites were made of this stuff."

21st January 2000 - Bassquake - A Dance Music Retrospective
Comments from the Link Page of Bassquake

"A blinder of an official web site to one of the very best dance music acts in the entire world. Ridiculous amounts of content will keep you glued for hours, including an amateur remix contest! Highly recomended."

6th July 1999 - NME.COM (New Musical Express)
Website of the week award

"Website award comes round to Orbital nme.com's Website Of The Week goes to a site lauding the Hartnoll brothers. Started as a fan site before getting official status, it has the most comprehensive on-line audio and video sample archives that you could wish for- most having been upgraded to MP3 files. If you like Orbital don't miss it."

30th June 1999 - SceneOne - (UK Online Guide)
Choice Website Award

"Loopz: There is some justice after all. The best band in the world (that's Orbital, kids) also have the best band website in the world. Keep yourself in the Loopz. "

3rd April 1999 - FlipSide - (UK Bi-Weekly Music Paper)
Review in Webcrawler Section - Page 46

"Whenever you're searching for an Orbital website, you'll inevitably end up at Loopz, Http://wkweb1.cableinet.co.uk ( website address is wrong - Loopz) This site has just about all the information you'll need on the brothers Hartnoll, and is evidently updated regularly, full of interviews with the boyz, reviews of all the albums and singles and all related news. You can download Orbital live at San Francisco in 1993 and get the band's full discography with audio clips. There are also FAQs which range from the inane ('Paul's birthday is 19th May') to the highly informative (a list of equipment they use). There even a question from an Anthony Wilson, but not, I suspect, the Anthony H. Wilson of Factory fame. This site is so up-to-the-minute that there's even mention of the Flipside interview with Orbital that took place just two days prior to this article's composition; "After the gig (in Leeds) there were three interviews" (that's us folks).

30th March 1999 - Noggin - (Email sent)
"I'd just like to thank you for all you've done, yers is by far the most informative and entertaining performer-web site I've ever seen. Keep up the great ASS-Kicking work.."

Februrary 1999 - Pc Format - (UK's largest Pc/Computer Magazine)
Band of the month - Wired World Section

"One of the most influential electronic acts to emerge this decade, Orbital return with a new album and tour to promote their own unique brand of beats and bleeps. The brainchild of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, Orbital manage to sound equally good on the club's PA system or your bedroom stereo.
The Loopz site gives a truly exhaustive overview of the adventures of the band to date. And so great is the webmasters devotion to Orbital that the brothers wisely decided to make Loopz the band's official site. There's a complete run-down of Orbital's sonic outings, including all the various soundtracks the band have been involved with, along with a history tracing the brothers' transformation from dodgy punks to uber-electro gods. There are loads of sound-clips, interviews, videos, pictures - just about everything you could possibly want."
