Party On!
Well, I've started so I'll finish...
It's like this - I haven't seen the boyz live for the best part of a year now and my feet (and my left eye, actually) are getting mighty twitchy.
So - this forum has various DJs, people who know people and, most importantly, potential punters like myself and I reckon we have the right stuff to put on a proper club/warehouse night - maybe even with a proper headliner - can't think who?!
I know some people who've done this sort of thing before, including a couple of VJs - Brummies, actually - and I could also probably help with dosh.
As I said in the thread in the other forum, we also have the most shameless self-publicist to have ever lived, so promotion shouldn't be a problem.
Is anyone at all vaguely interested in doing this and, if not, why not???
PS: Thank god for spellcheck - I nearly accused Dog of being a self-pubicist, whatever that is...probably involves shaving.

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

*disclaimer: it wasn't really crap. it was pretty good, and it left me with a good fork
It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

we'd play a live set no worries.
You know, many moons ago I had this mad/bad (delete as applicable) idea, being in a live electronic band and getting hardly any gigs I had the idea to create a combined 'tribute band' and just do the same thing but recreate and play out stuff by Orbital, Underworld, Chems etc.
It never got further than that, and was hampered by the fact that I couldn't think of a witty enough name to call ourselves. Any good suggestions
