won 1st place in the Future UK Internet 2001 Awards, Best
Music/MP3 Site category. Soul 24-7 and AudioGalaxy were
runners up
The Future UK Internet Awards 2001 were launched in May 2001 and
have been promoted through Future Publishing's PC and Internet
magazines as well as through its FutureNet website.
Publishing Director of Future Publishing's Computing Division,
John Weir, said: "We are delighted that in such a short space
of time the Future Internet Awards have captured the imagination
of reader and industry alike. The possibility of winning awards
from the UK's biggest computer magazine publisher has attracted
an enormous amount of interest from companies and I have every
confidence the awards will continue to go from strength to strength".

Weir presented the award to Steve Price at Soho House in London.
